Fences in Titusville, Florida
Titusville is one of Brevard's oldest incorporated cities, and it regulates fences in its own Land Development Regulations.
For a single-family home, Titusville's code (Ch. 30, Art. III, Div. 4) sets a 4 ft maximum height in the front-yard setback and 6 ft in the side and rear setbacks. A permit is required to put up a new fence or wall.
In the Downtown Mixed-Use district specifically, anything taller than 30 inches — fence, wall or screen — is not allowed forward of the building's front or street-side façade, which matters if the property in question sits in that district rather than a standard residential block.
Check which zoning applies before assuming the numbers
The 4 ft / 6 ft figures above are the standard single-family rule; multifamily properties get a different (more permissive) front-yard number under the same code. Confirming the zoning for your address is a one-call question worth asking the city before a fence line is drawn.
